Danyl

Danyl, whose full name is Danyl Mohamed Yassine Boudali, is a French-Algerian rapper, singer and singer-songwriter, born on October 25, 1996 in Saint-Maurice (Val-de-Marne). He grew up in Créteil before moving to the 13ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. Born into a family of Kabyle and Saharan origins, he was immersed in a varied musical environment from an early age. He began playing the piano at the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture (MJC) and continued his training at the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied solfeggio and classical piano. His family's musical influences, a blend of raï, chaâbi, French chanson and English rock, shape his artistic universe. Danyl began composing his own material at the age of thirteen. Under the pseudonym Hashey Sen, he released his first EP Appels manqués (7) in 2018, followed by Partition in 2020. At the same time, he is making a name for himself as a beatmaker, collaborating with artists such as SDM, Ninho and Bianca Costa. He also gains notoriety thanks to his lives on Twitch, where he shares his creative process and interacts with his audience. In 2023, he adopted his first name, Danyl, as his stage name and launched the Khedma EP series, the first volume of which was released the same year. His musical style fuses French rap, pop and neo-raï, reflecting his dual culture and contemporary sounds.
