Le Soldat Rose

Le Soldat Rose is a musical project launched by advertising creative and author Pierre-Dominique Burgaud in 2006. His desire to create a high-quality musical tale was supported by Louis Chédid, who composed the music. The two men brought together a rich cast, including Matthieu Chédid and Vanessa Paradis in the lead roles. The album Le Soldat Rose was one of the biggest hits of 2006, before being transformed into a musical, touring France since 2008. In 2013, Pierre-Dominique Burgaud followed up his tale with Le Soldat Rose 2, featuring new compositions by Francis Cabrel, sung by Thomas Dutronc, Nolwenn Leroy, Laurent Voulzy and Camélia Jordana, among others. A third installment released in 2017, entitled Le Soldat Rose à la Fabrique de Jouets, saw the arrival in the troupe of Jean-Louis Aubert, Zazie, Calogero, Olivia Ruiz and Gaëtan Roussel.
