Twins Crew

Led by guitar-wielding twin brothers Dennis and David Janglöv, Swedish band Twins Crew plays a melodic, rapid-fire strain of power metal that takes cues from forebears like Helloween, Iron Maiden, and Accept. A pair of self-released EPs and their 2011 debut, Judgement Night, helped set the table for future successes like their 2016 standout Veni Vidi Vici. After a nearly-ten-year gap, Twins Crew returned in 2025 with their fourth album, Chapter IV.After training at the Guitar Institute of Technology, the two Janglöv brothers formed Twins Crew in 2007, enlisting vocalist Andreas Larsson, bassist Fredrik Hammar, and drummer Uno Eriksson to complete the lineup. The Stockholm group's sound was informed by pioneers like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and other bands known for their prominent twin-guitar attack. Their first two EPs set the table for 2011's Judgement Night, Twins Crew's debut album. By that point they had already toured outside of Sweden, expanding their audience to other parts of Europe. A follow-up album, 2013's The Northern Crusade, was picked up by Italian label Scarlet, after which the band signed with Swedish metal imprint Beyond the Storm Productions. Their third album, Veni Vidi Vici, appeared in 2016, expanding their reach even further in the metal community.Twins Crew wouldn't release new music for nearly a decade -- during which their longtime drummer Uno Eriksson was replaced by Fredrik Nörgaard Graff. With the new lineup settled, the band regrouped to record 2025's Chapter IV, launching their next phase.
