T.I.
Un jour surnommé " le Jay-Z du Sud " par Pharrell Williams, T.I. s’est peu à peu imposé à part entière comme l'un des meilleurs MC et l'un des plus grands succès du rap au début des années 2000. Comme Jay-Z, T.I., né sous le nom de Clifford Harris à Atlanta (Géorgie) se caractérise depuis ses débuts par un mélange de douceur et de dureté, et bien que son album de 2001 I'm Serious (sorti sur le label Arista) ne le propulse pas à la manière de Reasonable Doubt, il ne cesse de grimper et commence à sortir une série de tubes avec, en 2003, "24's." De là, jusqu’en 2007, il était impossible d'écouter une station de radio urban des États-Unis sans entendre T.I.
