Frayne Vibez

Chicago's Frayne Vibez blends pop, indie rock, and hip-hop-infused soul into his own vibrant style. He released his debut EP, Take It Easy, in 2025.Born Frayne Lewis, Jr. in 2000 in Chicago, Illinois, Vibez was raised in a musical family, the grandson of legendary jazz and soul pianist Ramsey Lewis and the son of bassist, keyboardist, and producer Frayne Lewis. Growing up, his parents exposed him to an array of sounds, from R&B, jazz, pop, and rock to hip-hop. He started on piano at age six, but he developed a deeper connection to performing and writing while a teenager. After high school, he continued performing, all while earning a finance degree from Loyola University. While in college, he also spent several years traveling between Chicago and Los Angeles to work on tracks with producer Kosine. Vibez began releasing the tracks online, and gigs followed, including an appearance at Lollapalooza in 2023. In 2025, he delivered his debut EP, Take It Easy.
