Following the fall of apartheid, newly elected President Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) faces a South Africa that is racially and economically divided. Filme legalzinho, o roteiro é bacana, o filme mostra como a final de copa do mundo de rugby, o filme tem cenas de drama bacanas, e no final a África do Sul ganha a copa do mundo de rugby, gostei da atuação do morgan Freeman e do matt damon.

Netter Film, aber sehr konventionell gemacht und ohne Übertaschungen. Man hat solcherlei Filme zuhauf gesehen. Über Nelson Mandelas Kampf gegen die Apartheid lernt man leider in dem Film nichts. Der große Nelson Mandela, gespielt vom großen Morgan Freeman, als Regisseur der große Clint Eastwood, und das Ergebnis ist leider nur okay.
