Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) erguson remains a committed protagonist, but this sophomore season from creator Graham Yost (Justified) has a back-and-forth structure that takes time to gather momentum. Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Dan Einav Financial Times Silo remains a solid offering for fans of slow-burn sci-fi and brutalist architecture alike. Rated: 3/5 Nov 21, 2024 Full Review Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) In turning a cult novel into an understated sci-fi gem, Ferguson carries off her mission improbable with style. Rated: 4/5 Nov 20, 2024 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu The stakes move into the stratosphere as Rebecca Ferguson’s Jules gets perilously close to the truth, which Tim Robbins’ IT head is trying his utmost to hide in this taut, dystopian thriller May 16, 2025 Full Review Terry Mesnard Gayly Dreadful Silo Season 2 is off to a somewhat rocky start. It makes sense that we would flip back and forth between the two silos ... [but] the structure doesn’t completely work for me. Nov 29, 2024 Full Review Tim Stevens The Spool Despite growing in scope and ambition, Silo Season 2 remains committed to its quiet, insular brand of sci-fi. That’s very much a positive. Deborah S I honestly loved the back-and-forth format, and found myself equally interested in both storylines. But since I binged, I can understand getting frustrated of waiting a week to continue the story. The pacing was even better than the first season, the world building and cinematography are astonishing. The writing can sometimes be a little cringy, but I love how they manage to add some comedic relief. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/02/25 Full Review Alejandro R One of the best shows of the decade. People complain about the pacing of season 2, but it's fantastic. Loved to wait until we finally found out more about what's happening. Rebecca Ferguson is a force of nature, and the whole cast is really at their best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/21/25 Full Review Tracy R The second season is a lot of back peddaling however, the characters the premise is still just as intriguing as the first. Needed to write my first review I like it so much. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/19/25 Full Review Benjamin P This second season builds upon the first season's incredible and mind-boggling search for curiosity. It further develops the characters and overall just keeps you very much super intrigued and on the edge of your seat (literally). Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/14/25 Full Review erika m An absolute must watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/25 Full Review Ryan K Riveting science fiction television show! Season 2 of Silo continues the compelling story begun in season 1 with a few new characters and expands the audience's knowledge of the world throughout the season. The musical theme while employed heavily is still catchy, and the characters continue to grapple with tough decisions as they either try to discover the truth, try to maintain order, or try to achieve their own myopic goals. The writing feels pretty natural, and the acting is generally pretty polished. One weakness of the season is that new information about the world is primarily provided through exposition dumps that are fortunately infrequent. Additionally, there are a number of scenes that are shot with minimal light which essentially temporarily flips the show from an audiovisual media to an audiobook. However, the mysteries of the show's universe are captivating enough that I await season 3 with bated breath and am looking forward to reading the books when I get a chance.
