Despite a few tonal growing pains, Titans does justice to its source material and truly shines when its titular ensemble finally assembles.

Guy Pewsey London Evening Standard Titans is enjoyable and watchable, with Anna Diop's portrayal of Koriand'r a highlight. If only she was in charge. Rated: 3/5 Jan 16, 2019 Full Review Christian Holub Entertainment Weekly The violence takes some getting used to, but it balances well with humor and powerful performances to create an engaging show. Rated: B Oct 18, 2018 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com Titans is a superhero hybrid -- a live-action series that essentially weds the CW's DC Comics-inspired fare with the gritty, premium-cable approach... That's not a bad formula, and it yields an entertaining, heavily serialized show. Oct 15, 2018 Full Review Fausto Ponce Alta Fidelidad Magazine In the end, there is a nice cliffhanger that makes us consider giving it a second chance. Rated: 4.5/5 Jul 16, 2019 Full Review Jeff Beck The Blu Spot Combining a fascinating and eclectic group of characters with a twisty and compelling narrative, Titans makes for a surprisingly fun and exciting comic book show that's sure to please any fan of the genre. Audience Member Slow slow slow and boring, it can barely hold itself up Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/03/24 Full Review Lulu L I think the show did a better plot development when it come to connect all the plots together but this was the best one Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review Bowwow B Just starting Episode 3, and I will watch the whole season and update later, but so far it's been a dark, depressing slog. First, the acting is really weak: These folks were obviously hired for their looks, not for their performance skills. The creators must have figured the action sequences would carry the day. Second, I understand some cursing here and there, especially by the bad guys, but I remember Nightwing, for example, being a polite "Boy Scout" in the comics, so his dropping of F-bombs and other choice expletives is jarring and untrue to his character. And the other characters cuss enough that buying them as heroic ideals is difficult at best. Finally, I'm not up on the latest DC Comics. Haven't read anything (Teen) Titan related since the mid-'90s, so perhaps this storyline is based on an actual comics storyline and has a knowable end. My guess is that Rachel will end up being Raven, which, if correct, really sucks because the actor portraying her (Teagan Croft — I looked it up) has no apparent range, and the emo-goth character herself, instead of eliciting sympathy, is obnoxious and uncompelling. I'm rooting for the bad guys to get her since it seems like she would fit in better on the dark side. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review Jacques D Season 1 is the best season , introducing all these heroes while still delivering bloody action and a compelling mystery. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Patrick O Watched this to see how they're adapting Dick Grayson these days (I assume most of the audience has the same reason). Not terrible, but too dark and brooding. The point of Grayson is to be Batman without being, you know, crazy cakes. This Grayson is just less crazy cakes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review ana luisa u Dick Grayson el mejor personaje de la serie Raquel es genial Cory es decente y Gar es carismático y Hank y Dawn son geniales y la acción es genial pero los efectos son malos y es un 7.8 de 10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
