For model car kits, you can't beat the large selection of automobiles and trucks. Older companies like Revell and AMT, including MPC models, are still cranking out nostalgic models, and have tooled up all new releases within recent years. The model building hobby is at one of the best times ever for the selection and diversity of autos and car kits. New companies like MENG, Trumpeter, IMC, Moebius, and others, are all dipping their toes in the water, and have found success at producing model car kits.

While in the past they excelled at Science Fiction model kits, or Military Model kits, they've moved into issuing car subjects, and so far, they've done well. At Rocketfin Hobbies, we carry model kits of just about anything with wheels in one form or another. Military Jeeps or trucks kits, also 1/25 scale semi truck kits (which are very popular).

Plastic, resin, 3D printed, even vinyl models are becoming mainstream, and modelers are becoming comfortable in building kits in those mediums. It's the best time to hook up with a new model project !
