    Rachel is a speculative fiction writer, working on tales that range in genre from weird, to Gothic and cosmic horror, to very gentle, contemporary fantasy. She's happy to dabble in both wonder and dread, whimsy and entrails.

    When she isn't staring down a microscope or riding her bicycle, you can find her extolling the virtues of Val Lewton’s movies to anyone who will listen. (Start with “The Body Snatcher”.) She's been longlisted for a British Science Fiction Association award and is a member of Broad Universe, HWA (Horror Writers Association), and SFWA (Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association).
