Range Changer is made up of three different types of forage kochia, (a short variety for low coverage, and two taller varieties for greater forage yields) and two unique grasses, Bozoisky II Russian Wildrye and Vavilov II Siberian Wheat grass. These varieties were chosen for very specific characteristics: all are drought-tolerant, highly palatable, very competitive against aggressive plants such as cheatgrass, Russian thistle, Halogeton and Medusahead while also maintaining high protein levels throughout winter rotations then offering a quick recovery for summer grazing. All kochias and the wildrye retain high moisture content, reducing the risk of rangeland fires.
