Born in Thonon-les-Bains, Haute Savoie, Richard attained four World Cup podiums, all in giant slalom, with one victory, at Adelboden, Switzerland, a tie with Aksel Lund Svindal for first place. David Poisson (31 March 1982 – 13 November 2017) was a French World Cup alpine ski racer, who specialized in the speed events. He made his World Cup debut in 2004. Poisson represented France at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, where he placed 7th in the downhill. At the 2013 World Championships, Poisson made his first podium in top-level competition, taking bronze in the downhill. In 2015, Poisson took his only World Cup podium in a downhill in Santa Caterina, finishing third.Poisson died in a crash during training in Canada, at Nakiska near Calgary, on 13 November 2017. He made his breakthrough on the Alpine Skiing World Cup in a giant slalom in Val-d'Isère in December 2008, where after finishing 30th in the first run to narrowly qualify for the second run, he worked his way up to finish third overall, bettering his previous World Cup personal best of 15th. He won the silver medal in the super-G at the 2013 World Championships, after being added to the French team as an injury replacement. De Tessières announced his retirement from competition in January 2014 after he was not selected for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Jean-Baptiste Grange (born 10 October 1984) is a French World Cup alpine ski racer. He competes only in slalom. In the past, he had also competed in giant slalom and combined, like his teammate Julien Lizeroux. Born in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, Grange grew up in Valloire, Galibier, and made his World Cup debut at age 19 in January 2004. In February 2007, he won the bronze medal in the slalom at the 2007 World Championships in Åre, Sweden. He won his first World Cup race on 17 December 2007, and won the 2009 season title in the slalom. Injured in early December 2009 in a giant slalom at Beaver Creek, he opted for surgery and missed the remainder of the 2010 season, which included the 2010 Winter Olympics. He returned to competition for the 2011 season and won the world championship in the slalom. He won his second slalom world title in Beaver Creek on 15 February 2015. Johan Clarey (born 8 January 1981) is a French World Cup alpine ski racer. He specializes in the speed events of downhill and super-G.Born in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, Clarey made his World Cup debut in November 2003 and has five World Cup podiums through January 2019. He set a World Cup speed record in 2013 at the classic downhill race in Wengen, Switzerland, with a maximum speed of 161.9 km/h (100.6 mph) at the Haneggschuss, the fastest section of the Lauberhorn slope. Julien Lizeroux (born 5 September 1979) is a French World Cup alpine ski racer. He competes only in slalom. In the past, he had also competed in giant slalom and combined. Born in Moûtiers, Savoie, Lizeroux is a member of Douanes-La Plagne. He made his World Cup debut in 2000 and has three World Cup victories, all in slalom. Lizeroux won silver medals in the super combined and the slalom on home snow at the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isère. He finished 9th in the slalom and 18th in the super combined of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. A problematic right knee hampered his performance during the first half of 2011 season, and has sidelined him since January 2011. Surgery in June 2011 caused Lizeroux to miss the 2012 season. He returned for the 2014 season, without much success. The following three seasons (2015–2017) were more successful, with several (one, five and five, respectively) finishes in the top ten. Marie Marchand-Arvier (born 8 April 1985) is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Born in Laxou, she won a silver medal in the super-G at the 2009 World Championships. She finished fifth in the combined, and sixth in the downhill. Marchand-Arvier competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, where her best result was 15th in the downhill. At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, she finished 7th in the downhill and tenth in the combined at Whistler Creekside. Marchand-Arvier married former biathlete Vincent Jay in June 2014. Born in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, Fanara specialised in giant slalom; his one and only win came in March 2016 at the giant slalom finals in St. Moritz, Switzerland. He is the oldest racer to reach a World Cup podium in giant slalom, and competed for France at three Winter Olympics and six World Championships. Thomas Mermillod Blondin
Thomas Mermillod-Blondin (born 3 January 1984) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Born in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, he primarily competed in super-G, but his best results were in the super combined event: he took five of his six World Cup podiums in combined, with the other coming in super-G. Mermillod-Blondin made his World Cup debut in 2007 and represented France at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2011 World Championships. He made a total of 179 World Cup starts in his career.
