Have you been binging the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House? The sequel The Haunting of Bly Manor has dropped, with several cast members back for another round.
The Haunting of Bly Manor centres around the same haunted house as the first series.
If you love a little property digging, you can check out the property used in filming on US property site, Zillow, which archives some of its more unusual homes.
The 17th-century home is out in the English Countryside. It has historic grounds and is the home used in the filming for both series.

If that wasn’t enough to send shivers down your spine, the property’s exterior has also been described as being “suspended in time”.

Is Bly Manor a real place?
Sadly not! Bly Manor doesn’t exist in real life. It was a creation of Henry James, whose 1898 novella The Turn of the Screw served as some major inspiration for the Netflix show.
James never actually refers to it as ‘Bly Manor’ in his work – simply ‘Bly,’ and its location is said to be in the Essex countryside.
In The Turn of the Screw, the narrow describes the property as giving a “thoroughly pleasant impression.”
“I remember the lawn and the bright flowers and the crunch of my wheels on the gravel and the clustered tree-tops over which the rooks circled and cawed in the golden sky. The scene had a greatness that made it a different affair from my own scant home.”
