Inspired by and calling upon the theoretical works I read this semester, my project aims to thoughtfully engage with Glitch Feminism, Unthinking Mastery, and Foucault. The initial basis for my project began with a class discussion of Weheliye's Habeas Viscus, as I began to think about ways to exist outside of the western conception of man and open up the possibilities of other pathways to the human experience. My work with fanfiction and the digital literature space lends itself to the exploration of other forms of literature, seeing as my experiences with fanfiction were all collaborative and free, creating potential for a new way of thinking about the possibilities of literature. This paper aims to broaden the scope of our understanding of literature and gesture towards a move to community-elaborated literary practices that more align with decolonial, anti-capitalist, and equitable practices of creation. The implied reader is both academic and those who use digital literature platforms; I believe that, while an academic discourse community may be the audience for the conference paper, by publishing the paper on Wattpad I am changing the intended audience and opening the paper up to multiple interpretations. The goal of my project is to engage with texts that we read, but also to practice my claim by posting the final product to Wattpad, in order to further illustrate the point that the text is subject to change via the comments. I am opening up my own work to vulnerable reading, in a way that actively decenters my own mastery of the written work.

Now, Julius isn't one to murder without good reason. And when the right reason comes, you'd best believe that he'll be right behind you. 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 * * * 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 became a serial criminal and con artist. After constantly switching locations (he got banned in multiple states), he finally settled in Pennsylvania. Living in a run-down apartment without any cash, a job, and food, he had to find a way to make money, and fast. It isn't easy being on the run. 𝗥𝘂𝗻 * * * After about a year, when the brothers finally reunite in Portland, their relationship still feels very rocky. They apply for jobs, and (quite surprisingly for Julian), get them. That's how Rookie Police Officer Julius Caesar and Movie Theatre Worker Julian Caesar ended up going to Portland State University together and making friends with the one and only Julia Mathers. P.S. This has nothing to do with THE Julius Caesar, I just loved his name 😇 P.P.S. This is my first story that isn't a Harry Potter fanfiction so be supportive 😭 if you don't like it, don't read it ✌️
