Welcome Back, Nate. Prologue Genevieve Stewart or Viv—as some call her, is seventeen years old and a senior in Groves High School, a public school located in Garden City, Georgia. When Nate laughs, she laughs. They protected each other. They were like chained to each other and no one can separate them. That was until they were five and Nate’s family decided to move to California. Viv’s family was crushed because of the departure of their childhood buddies. Genevieve, too, was more than crushed. With such little memories she has with her only best friend, she was broken. Then he came back...
