Every year, the tributes fight in the Hunger Games arenas. Every year, the citizens of Panem and the Capital watch. And every year, the mentors have to watch from the mentors room, famed Victors themselves, and almost entirely unable to bring home another Victor. Nobody's ever said that a Victor's life got easier after the games ended.

A beautiful baby boy, a wonderful mother and father, and a Quarter Quell. Those few things don't seem to go together all too well. Heather had one the games when she was fourteen, much like her brother Finnick Odair. I guess it runs in the family. Samuel has become champion at the age of 15, nearly three years ago, having his best friend die in his arms. Tragic really. Smiles, laughter, and happiness explodes within the victors village with the five victors, but little do they know what's coming their way. And they have no way to stop it. At just 13 years old Nicolette or better known in her district as Nico, she volunteers out of sheer boredom. With no living relatives and a mind that's constantly needing something to do she volunteers just for the hell of it. Yes, she knows of the horrors that take place in the game and YES, she knows she's likely to die, but she's always been reckless. She's always done things that kept everyone on their toes. She refuses to fit in, and she loves to make a splash. So, when she gets the idea to volunteer during the reaping she doesn't wait very long to jump on it.

Ever since the 2nd quarter quell viewership for the hunger games has been depleting. Because of this president snow has a huge announcement. This year they would be doubling the hunger games. Two more tributes one more arena 46 more lives. River floris just wanted to put reaping day in the back of his mind. But just as he was about to walk off free his name was pulled. Now River would be entering on of the biggest and most challenging games in history. Can he pull it off and return home or will the worse happen to him?

Marlowe Odair had been training her whole life to be in the Hunger Games. But she had seen what they had done to her brother, Finnick, and she wanted no part of that. But when the 74th Hunger Games comes around and she finds herself in the Games, Marlowe finds herself in a desperate situation when the other Careers reject her and her District partner for being 'too young and not strong enough'. When the boy from Twelve comes up to her, asking her to show him how to tie a rope, Marlowe does so. What she didn't know, was that showing Peeta Mellark how to tie a simple knot, would lead to them playing fake lovers, to faking an engagement and a pregnancy, and would then lead to them leading a revolution.
