❝ You remind me of myself ❞
[BOOK ONE]
Fame wasn't for the weak
Countless people have proven that over and over, they cracked when it got too much. They bite off more than than they can chew and expect it not to bite them in the ass
But it always did
Brittany Spears? Bald. Amy Winehouse? Drugs. Michael Jackson? Murdered. Notice how they get worse. Hollywood has a funny way of turning on their stars when they start taking away control.
Multiple people cracked under the pressure, the attention, the invasion of privacy, but me?
I didn't crack-at least I was desperately tryin not to. Being raised by a corporate shark made you realize something most people took their whole lives to learn
Anybody can turn on you for the right price.
It's a lesson immediately goes out the window after you get your first friend, then it came right back around to fuck you up.
To me, Fame was my armor, my weapon.
Use it correctly, and it's the deadliest thing on earth. If you don't, prepare to be destroyed. I hated Hollywood. the fame, the cameras, the spotlight, I shone in it, but I hated it.
The constant pressure to be perfect. Sadly we live in a time where talent isn't the most important thing in Hollywood
Pop quiz, what should you do when Hollywood turns you into the villain in your own story?
The usual responses were deny the words or ignore them till they crush your soul and break your spine. But it ends badly either way. There is a third way
Play the part
They want a villain? Act like it. It's what I did. It was good for a while.
Until it wasn't.
