When her older brother decides to return and move back in he brings along a new friend, who may just be another reason Emma is kept up all night. As life for Emma begins to readjust once again, she may finally find the safety she didn't know she'd been looking for.

This is a non fiction story about the murder of my nephew during a mass shooting in 2021 in Tucson, AZ. The story is written from my perspective of the events of that day and the aftermath that followed. My hope is that his story will not fade and to possibly help others dealing with loss. Below are a few chapters to try and get some feedback. I have a lot more written but I guess I need to know if this a project I should continue to work on or not. Helping to raise 2 children and working make time and money a tight commodity.
