Everyone aspires to be healthy - whether that means losing weight, reducing body fat, or building muscle. People turn to various approaches to achieve this: ketogenic diets, intermittent fasting, calorie deficits, yoga, running, gym workouts, or even egg-based diets, among many others. The reality, however, is that not every program works for every person. What succeeds for one individual may not yield the same results for another, largely because we all have different daily routines, hobbies, work schedules, and available time for exercise. As a result, many attempts end in frustration or failure. Yet, throughout my own fat loss journey, I observed one consistent factor shared across all successful efforts - and that is discipline. Having personally lost from 118 kg down to 69 kg, discipline was the single most important focus that made the difference. To find out exactly how I did it, I invite you to read my book.

It all began one dreary evening, as I plopped onto the couch, exhausted from a long day at work. The remnants of takeout containers littered the coffee table, a stark reminder of my unhealthy habits. I felt trapped in a cycle of fatigue and frustration, staring blankly at the TV while the latest binge-worthy series played in the background. It was a routine that left me feeling empty. Scrolling through social media, I stumbled upon a post that caught my eye-a radiant photo of a group of people smiling while exercising. The caption read, "Find joy in movement." A flicker of longing sparked within me. Where had my energy gone? I missed the vibrant, active person I once was. I realized I had let life's demands overshadow my well-being. That night, I decided to take action. I opened my laptop, ready to explore solutions. Searching for health and wellness tips, I found stories of transformation that resonated deeply with me. Inspired, I crafted a list of simple goals: walk for ten minutes daily, drink more water, and prepare one healthy meal each week. The next morning, I laced up my sneakers and ventured outside. The fresh air invigorated me, each step bringing a sense of liberation. I felt a rush of excitement as I embraced small victories-replacing sugary snacks with fruits and discovering new recipes to try. With each day, I reclaimed a piece of myself. It wasn't just about weight loss or fitness; it was about nurturing my body and spirit. This journey was just beginning, but I was ready to rediscover my strength and joy in every step forward.

Most of the topics for newspapers, magazines, talk radio, and other media for the New Year have to do with losing weight, eating healthily, and exercising. These topics bring loads of advertisements for such things as diet books, diet foods, and loads of weight loss products, whole-food products, along with exercising equipment to keep in shape. All of this to help us to live and eat healthier so that we can be physically fit. But what about our spiritual fitness? We are not just physical beings. We are spiritual beings as well, and need to address the needs of our spiritual nature. To be spiritually fit we have to feed our spiritual nature with spiritual food and do spiritual exercises. Spiritual fitness also involves spiritual training and spiritual discipline. As we take care of the physical, let us not forget the spiritual as well. One of our spiritual exercises is walking by faith. Unlike physical walking where we can see where we are going, spiritual walking is by faith, and not by sight.(2 Cor.5:7). Walking by faith is believing God's promises will be fulfilled even when we can't see them. With the gloomy situation that the world is in today, we need spiritual fitness more now, than we ever did before. Having a healthy spiritual life will also help us with our physical fitness. My book: The Christian Olympics: Going for the Gold Crowns, can help you to become spiritually fit. You will discover other spiritual exercises that are beneficial to your spiritual life. In times like these we cannot survive without spiritual fitness. Get On Your Mark, Get Set, And LET'S GET SPIRITUALLY FIT !!! http://www.christianolympics.org
