"Aithusa," She held out a filthy hand for him to shake, spitting a globule of blood over her shoulder and tossing her dark curly hair out of her face. Personally speaking, I think Rhysand (From Sarah J Mass' ACOTAR Series) is single-handedly the best character to ever grace any piece of paper. His in-depth background story, mixed in with the strains he faced as a male going through an abusive relationship and managing to come through it all. The self sacrificing male, the strongest High Lord that has ever walked Pyrithian is one of legend and just pure beauty. This story is trying to capture a moment that really goes under the radar and forgotten about, when Tamlin betrays him resulting in the death, of a mother he loved, and a sister - not only his sister, but the girl who was a sister to two bastard born Illyrian warriors. I hope I do it justice and you guys enjoy it as it's my first attempt at writing fan-fiction and really want to knock it out of the park =)
