Story centers around mostly Rogue and Gambit with a little Shadowcat and Colossus and Scarlet Witch and Pyro mixed in. Rogue has pretty much gained control of her powers but she is still afraid to touch. Can a certain Cajun thief help her get over her fears?

Nathan Mercer just wanted to go home. Remy LeBeau just wanted to find a way to get by. Two mutants. Two fugitives. Two guys who never really had a place to belong. You're a non-mutant who used to work alongside with the government as an agent but now you are a ex-government agent, but you don't hate mutants, you wanted to help mutants since you believe mutants are just like you that just wants to live in peaceful lives. But when your job heard that you cared about mutants, they kicked you out. Lucky, a man with a bald head sees you and asks you to work alongside with his students. Of course, you agree to go with him because you believe in justice between non-mutants and mutants. You also meet a cocky French guy, who you actually enjoy being around and you start having feelings towards the man, who ended up telling you his name is Remy LeBeau. Let's see what happens now. Dave Cross is a former soldier who runs a bar/restaurant called The Bullet Hole with his friend Myles. Dave has a huge problem, he has PTSD and on top of that he recently discovered he is a mutant. He has trouble controlling his powers until he runs into a certain group of mutants. Will he be able to harness his powers for the greater good or will he use it for evil? I do not own the X-Men or any other Marvel characters that appear. I only own Dave and Myles. Fair warning this is my first time writing fan fiction so bear with me please.

This takes place in X-Men Evolution universe. It's graduation day for Kurt and Kitty and Rogue is playing the proud sister, seeing her sweet little brother getting his diploma, but someone is watching, lurking in the shadows, wanting revenge of the pair for some mysterious reason. After the ceremony there is a big celebration at the mansion and everyone is in a party mood. Gambit had joined the X-Men a few months before and he and Rogue have been working on having a relationship. Even though they still have hurtles to cross because or her powers and his past to deal with their relationship is getting strong. Kurt also has a girlfriend in Tabitha Smith. She has moved back to the mansion after a stint on her own and will be graduating the next year. She and Kurt have been getting close and he even invited her to the prom. Things are going well for the young X-Men, but the ball is about to drop. Rogue finds herself being stalked as well as Kurt. Some mystery person is calling and leaving threatening messages on their phones and even leaving horrible gifts, even a box with a dead rat in it with message consisting of two words: your next. Even their once estranged mother is worried about who it could be that is terrorizing her two children. Logon confronts her about it and he knows that she knows more than she's telling but will not say a word. The mansion is on alert once the stalking reaching a new level. Both rogue and Kurt find dolls with their likeness hanging by a noose in their rooms. Kurt is freaked out as is Rogue, and their significant other want steps to assure whoever is doing this will be caught, and also that Kurt and Rogue will be protected.

Gambit's been spyin' on him chérie fo' a while now. he finally has une excuse ta visite her at school other dan ta teach any unfortunate anti-mutant activists fro' takin' out dey unruly hate out on him beloved chérie. or is dat la raison dis time, too? and when Principal Kelly already has had three strikes against him previously come and gone, can he afford to choose his personal vendettas against mutants over his professionalism as a high school principal this time? possibly not when a lot more than his profession is riding on that line. what's in store for Rogue while being harrassed by the thugs who think they're so righteous? find out in "Une X-Man in Distress Rescued by Un Acolyte, of All Mutants".

But because of that meeting, she's kidnapped, informed that he's a dangerous mutant known as Gambit, and is threatened with her life to help track him down. this is just basically the original "X-Men" film rewritten to include Gambit as a part of it. say what you'd want about this, I honestly like this version of the movie better than the real thing. the real thing kinda shattered my acceptance for the truth and disappointed all the fans. I hope they could live with it on their consciences that they let the fans down. this is just my way of writing an alternate reality to that and of righting that wrong.
