The Higher-Ups growing concerned over the possibility of Makima's true identity being revealed, they had ordered her to get a roommate to lessen the chance of someone finding out about her devil heritage. Upon meeting her new roommate, something within her shifted. It was small but it began to build up when her need to control him grew, when they interacted with eachother more. Y/N is an American working for the Public Safety Devil Hunters in Japan at the request of Makima. Talented and hungry to fight devils, Y/N is a model hunter with little regard for his life choosing to enjoy life before the early death he is convinced will come for him. However, he meets a girl who is his polar opposite and eventually suffers from feelings, flipping his world upside down. Not to mention the whirlwind of insanity that is yet to come our protagonist's way every part of him will be tested. Will Y/N overcome the indifference of the world and find a happy ending so few can seem to find? Eh... doubtful but it'll be a hell of a ride nonetheless.
