There are many ways to be defined. Your name, like 'Oh hey look! It's Anne!', appearance like 'Look for the guy with the blond hair', your career, voice, even your pet can be a definition of you. On our planet, Slysorn, we are known for the pain we endured, and the scars we carried. And I for one, had many.

They called her 'Mouse'. Kie Loren just wanted to be left alone to study the music she loved. But now, she was teamed up on a biological survey project with Ben Finn, the son of Mora and Gan Finn, the heroes credited with saving this newly terraformed world called 'Paradise'. It didn't help that Ben was handsome and irresistibly charming, but the most infuriating part was that he knew it. Oh, and he also had chocolate... But Ben was the least of her problems. An alien civilization had begun terraforming this world long before humans arrived. And now they wanted it back.

Under normal circumstances, 22730 should have lived a simple cockroach life, eating and reproducing. However, the insect felt that she was destined for greater things. The problem was that a cockroach's life doesn't allow for that. Still, she can at least try, can't she? The story of 22730 is a struggle against fate, but also a glimmer of hope. She will fight for her dream, even if it meant dying. After all, who said becoming a historian entailed any problems?
