I've got pretty serious doubts about using Seattle city council districts as locations. The city has redistricted frequently (at least twice in the last decade), has had decades-long periods when all council seats were at-large, and certainly the present-day district is an odd match for a temporary building from 1909. - There's nothing fine-grained in Seattle that really counts as administrative. (City Council seats aren't even administrative, just part of the electoral process; ditto for the state legislative districts.) Famously, the only neighborhoods in Seattle that even arguably have well-defined boundaries are those that used to be cities or towns in their own right, which Seattle annexed, and even there many either have come to refer to a larger district than the historical town (Georgetown) or have been subdivided into neighborhoods of their own in the common parlance (West Seattle). There is one area of town between Ballard and Fremont where both neighborhoods "claim" it; some of us have taken to calling it "Frelard". We can (and should) add a more specific location (P276) for locations within Seattle (see en:List of neighborhoods in Seattle), but it is not really a P131. If you must add a city council district as a P131, it certainly needs an associated date, or it will mean nothing. - Jmabel (talk) 07:26, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
I'm not sure how your bot pulls info from archINFORM, but in this case it sort of "missed the lede". Yes, this building was eventually a single-family detached home (Q1307276) of sorts (the official residence of the president of the University of Washington) but it was built as a national pavillon (Q102421356), which the archINFORM item appears to state, though I can see it is not the clearest thing in the world. - Jmabel (talk) 14:53, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
