--Yshrkwhr (talk) 14:07, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

Merge
[edit]Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. We do this by making one item a redirect for the other. In particular, item ids are intended to be a permanent identifier, so we never reuse them for another concept. See Help:Merge for more information on how to merge items, and consider installing the Merge Gadget. Thanks! Madamebiblio (talk) 17:03, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Yshrkwhr Please not blanking items, use merge tool. Thank you. Madamebiblio (talk) 01:51, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Second time
[edit]If you find duplicate items, to merge: use Merge tool or go to Wikidata:Community portal. Please avoid these edits. Thanks. Madamebiblio (talk) 16:59, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
Koji Tanaka
[edit]Hi Ysh,
the KrBot of @Ivan A. Krestinin: is mixing the VIAF numbers of Kōji Tanaka (Q120107986) and Kōji Tanaka (Q17160827). Is this right?-- Vulkangruppe Berlin (talk) 19:18, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- Right! Japanese Kanji name is different. NDL data may be first. I sent mail to VIAF that modify VIAF to match wikidata. But
- 311116661 is removed ? Yshrkwhr (talk) 14:33, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
