It can create a customer dashboard, give your clients their own login, or build a quotes-and-invoices project. It can also build a full Taskade Genesis app from one prompt. You write no code and you book no setup calls.
Taskade EVE is the meta-agent that connects Memory, Intelligence, and Execution into one whole. Custom agents are specialists that you build for specific jobs. Taskade EVE is the generalist that works across your whole workspace. It creates projects, builds custom agents, connects automations, and builds full Taskade Genesis apps from one prompt.

Add web context with links. In the AI chat, use Add from Links to add a web page or a YouTube URL. Taskade EVE reads that content and uses it as context for your conversation.

Working with Taskade EVE
Taskade EVE understands natural language. Give it clear context and outcomes to get useful results.
Speak Your Prompt
Use voice input when talking is faster than typing.
- Open Taskade EVE. Leave the composer empty.
- Select the mic control that replaces Send, or press Command/Ctrl + Shift + M.
- Speak for up to one minute.
- Select the stop control to transcribe the recording.
- Review the text in the composer. Then edit it or send it.
Taskade inserts the transcript into the composer and never sends it automatically. You can type while Taskade records or transcribes. The transcript is then added at the cursor. If the mic is unavailable, make sure that your browser has permission. Make sure that the page uses a secure connection.
Manage What Taskade EVE Remembers
Tell Taskade EVE to remember a standing preference, such as your preferred answer length or writing style. The preference follows your account across workspaces.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Find What EVE remembers about you.
- Edit the saved preferences and select Save.
- When you want Taskade EVE to forget all standing preferences, select Clear.
Taskade EVE reads these preferences before it helps you. Changing this account memory does not erase your projects, chats, or agent knowledge.

Open the Agent Panel
Taskade EVE is always in the left sidebar, in every app, automation, and project:
- Click the 🤖 Chat in the top-left corner of the top navigation bar.
- Type what you want to accomplish in plain English.
- Press Enter to prompt the agent.
- To close the chat, click the last button on the right of the Taskade EVE panel.
Master Taskade EVE Prompting
Taskade EVE reads plain English, so you can describe what you want in your own words. The clearer your prompt is, the better the result.

How Taskade EVE Responds

Select AI Model
Taskade EVE supports multiple AI models, and each one has different strengths. You can choose the model that powers your chat.
In the Taskade EVE panel:
- Open the Taskade EVE panel (see the previous section).
- Click 🤖 at the bottom of the Taskade EVE panel to browse available models.
- Select your preferred model.

How Taskade EVE Navigates
Taskade EVE sees your workspace as a tidy set of folders, one for each part of your work:
- Projects: All the projects in the current workspace.
- Agents: All the AI agents that you created.
- Automations: All your automations.
- Media: All uploaded files and media.
- App files: The files that form your Taskade Genesis app.
This means you can ask Taskade EVE things like: "Show me all my projects", "What automations are running?", or "Find the file I uploaded yesterday." Taskade EVE looks through your workspace to find what you need.
Choose Chat Mode
Taskade EVE runs in five chat modes. Auto is the default and covers everything. The other four narrow the work to one layer, so a request lands where you meant it.
How to switch between chat modes:
- Open the Taskade EVE chat in the left sidebar.
- Click the mode button in the row under the prompt box.
- Select the mode that matches your current task.

AI Assistant in Project Editor
Important: This section describes Taskade Classic features, including slash commands in the Taskade AI Assistant. These commands give quick access to AI while you edit. You can do the same tasks with Taskade EVE, which works across your whole workspace.
Getting Started
You can open the Taskade AI Assistant in the editor in three ways:
- Click the ➕ Add-ons menu button.
- Type one of the AI commands in the project editor. The table that follows lists the commands.
- Select text or tasks in the project editor.
Note: Even if you refresh the page, the Assistant works in the background.
Editor /AI Commands
Use /AI slash commands in the project editor to write, edit, and organize content:
- Type / at the start of a new line or task to see the available commands.
- Or press ⌨️ Space at the start of a line to open the AI Assistant menu.
- Select a command from the list, or keep typing to filter the list.
- Press ⌨️ Enter to run the command.
- Add more prompts to expand, rewrite, or refine the output.

Insert, Replace, Regenerate
After the Taskade Assistant Agent generates a message, you can:
- ➕ Click Insert (or press ⌨️ Enter) to add the generated text to the project.
- 🔁 Click Replace (or press ⌨️ Shift + Enter) to replace the active line.
- 🔄 Click Regenerate to make Taskade EVE redo its last reply on the same prompt.
- Type a follow-up prompt to expand or refine the output.
Multi-Select
You can select multiple tasks and notes at the same time. Taskade then writes summaries, prioritizes tasks, creates action items, and more.
- Click and hold the left mouse button.
- Drag the cursor up or down to select nodes.
- Choose the AI Assistant icon
from the Multi-Select Toolbar. - Select the AI action that you want (see the previous section).
Custom Agent Commands
The / shortcut also opens all your custom AI Agent commands:
- Open a project in the workspace/folder where you created an agent.
- Type / and the name of your custom command, for example "/task breakdown".
- You do not need to type the whole command.
- Press ⌨️ Enter to run the command.

Connect More Tools
