Nitro V8 Engine Powered Drill
H/t: Gizmodo
It’s not HEMI school bus, but this nitro V8 engine-powered drill is just as cool. Tim Welds first had to pick up a Toyan replica V8 engine that runs on nitro (nitromethane, methanol, and oil), one that costs a whopping $1,800 USD.

This 4.3hp V8 engine features overhead camshafts, dual carburetors, and a radiator-equipped cooling system. All of these moving parts had to then be incorporated int oa custom designed mount for the handle of an electric drill. Let’s just say that testing involved some burning of ignition modules before you’re able to hear the nitro V8 engine drill rev up to 12,500rpm. One caveat: the engine alone weighs in at a hefty 4.52-pounds, so you won’t want to be using this for any big projects.
