?????: One of my favorite stouts and a high rating… That’s saying a lot because I’m not typically a stout fan but this one convinced me to give stouts more thought. Very tasty with the right balance and amount of adjuncts. Super good. Just watch out with that 13.5 percent.

Notes: Not too shabby. Not a stout guy but I’m warming up to them slowly. This one has a pretty straight forward milk stout flavor to me. Dark chocolate coffee taste.

Notes: Don’t go by my rating unless your like me and don’t care much for stouts. Previously I rated other stouts higher but in hindsight I shouldn’t have because I just don’t dig them. This one has tons of flavor though so I’m sure stout fans will love it. The pecan gives it a slightly nutty flavor but the brown sugar really stands out for me. It’s very sweet as I would expect a breakfast stout. If you like stouts I you’d like this beer and I’m sure would rate it higher than I have.
Can art: I don’t think Great Notion has a bad beer label or even mediocre one. This is a sick illustration and props to the artist @timberps for always killing it with the labels.

Notes: I’ll start by saying I’m not a stout guy. Just not my style but I’ll give it a chance. It’s got tons of dark chocolate flavor and a little taste of coffee which I believe is there from the dark chocolate. It’s tasty with plenty of flavor but not my style. My wife likes stouts at our house but she isn’t much of an Imperial Stout drinker. “Yeah, I’ll drink more of these”, she said, which means it’s actually a really good stout.

Notes: Wow! This might be a game changer for me. Anyone that knows me knows that in the 20+ years I’ve been drinking, almost excursively beer, I’ve not been into stouts (or porters) at all. Just not my style. This is the first stout mix I’ve ever had which I truly enjoy. Cheers to @greatnotionpdx for keeping it top notch. I tried the 3:1 ratio as well as a 1:1 ration and I enjoyed the 1:1 better but that’s probably because the #blueberrymuffins cuts the stout.
Can Art: Always a cool block print design. The peanut brother is a reuse but still legit.
