About Jay Leno
Jay Leno is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer
Career
In 1973, Jay Leno started doing comedy at clubs. He made his first TV appearance doing comedy on The Tonight Show. He then had small roles in TV and film in the '70s. Then in 1987, Leno started substituting for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, replacing Carson in 1992. He hosted this show until 2009 when Conan O'Brien took over. During this time, Leno hosted The Jay Leno Show, but he moved back to The Tonight Show again after a year. In 2014, Jimmy Fallon replaced Leno.
