There’s always a buzzing crowd at Enoteca Il Piccolo, a natural wine bar near Piazza Navona. The snug space feels inviting in the winter with just five tables, but in the summer, the outdoor seating is where you want to be—prime for sipping wine and watching tourists in heels trying not to faceplant on cobblestones. The last time we were here, we loved a skin-macerated rosè from a tiny volcanic island off the coast of Sicily. For bites, there are simple but solid snacks like bruschetta, cheesy slabs of lasagna, and sandwiches stuffed with pastrami.
Latteria Trastevere is a wine bar with great daily pasta specials and a leafy outside space.
