🌊 Aqua Art Challenge (DTIYS) 1st Prize! 🌊

Congratulations to @djaxaran for winning the fist prize of the DTIYS challenge!

And what a challenge it was for me too! I'm trying hard to correct my tendency to use too many blacks in my works. Plus, I just called for troubles when I put that much water around the picture.

But hey! I'm not going to sit on my lazy bum and make my life simpler if it means less improvement! This is still so much more than I could do a while ago, and I don't plan to stop learning anytime soon!

Too many of those monsters ambushed us at the same time - way too many. They overwhelmed us, and both Kairon and I risked to end our run there...

Luckily, I am never alone, and I am not going to die so easily on his watch.

Right after the character design, my final illustration for the master class also featured Anika in a very specific condition and scene from the original campaign I've been playing her in, the World of Eras! Early times followers may recognize her as the model for my first DTIYS challenge. She's come far, hasn't she?~

While one may still find many flaws around the piece, if someone told me I made this a few months ago I wouldn't have believed it. I'm so so proud of my improvement!! And I promise, this is still just the beginning~

Well hello there!! I'm back from vacations - still on summer break, but with 100% hype for coming back to work!

While I finish up the last illustrated prize for the Aqua Art Challenge (finally!), I'm going to reorganize some of the best results of these past months' master class at Genius Academy.

It was an absolute pleasure to give Anika a retouch, as it was to work on a new full character design project!!

Absolutely expect more of these in the future, I already have a pretty list of names~ The classes will resume soon and activity will drop again for a bit, but boy! I'm excited!

I AM ALIVE!! I completed the first half of the master class I've taken, so I'm finally free to resume things from where I left off, with some news!

I'm changing the purpose of my Instagram profile to... simple art corner! I'm going to spam whatever nice thing I feel like sharing, from the most messy quick sketch to the most refined masterpiece I can create, for the sake of sharing and connecting with y'all! My Artstation will become the ExtraPolished(TM) portal to check my works for professional purposes, but for what concerns the rest, I really want to get back to have fun with social media.

Why not, after all? Before they became a whole stressful mess with algorithm problems and stuff like that, sharing things was a mean to create chances of interaction! I think I've been neglecting that side of my activity online for way too long, and I can't wait to get more in touch with everyone.

With all of that said, I'll be on vacation for the next month, but the prizes of the DTIYS are finally in the making together with a few more personal pieces I've been delaying for too long! Plus, I'll reorganize and share my best exercises for this course, because goodness, that was a blast of inspiration and improvement! Hopefully you'll think the same on the long run 😊

🌙 Elysium Shrine🌙

It was almost at the beginning of her journey… Lia remembers fondly of the sudden journey through the Elysium, with its solemn views and otherwordly presences. It was the very beginning of when she started learning how to dance from Ashava, and it was after this that she received her beloved scarf.

While I usually don’t upload my exercises for the class on social  media as posts, I just had to share with you guys one of my biggest satisfactions so far! I was never, NEVER, able to think of a background on my own, especially a complex one that I could actually bring to life later… but this time, I did it! It’s a scene from our Pathfinder2e campaign featuring Lia! And it’s *exciting*!! 

There were also a few more of sketches behind this assignment, which also covered more types of environments and scenarios! Tell me your favourite!

Of course, there’s always so much to learn and practice and a long road ahead, but hey! Look! If a few months ago I was told I made something like this I would not believe it!

🌊 The Aqua Art Challenge has come to an end 🌊

First and foremost, thank you, everyone! My artsy journey wouldn't be the same without all of you, affectionate followers and newcomers ♥ I started this little thing when you were around 500, and now there are almost 150 more! I can't but wish you'll keep enjoying what's to come, between new content, experiments, improvement and anything on the line! Second of all, I'll take a tiny extra space for apologizing for my silence in the past month. Lots of things have been set in motion and, for those who don't know, I also started attending a master class to improve my skills! I'll make sure the wait will be worth it... especially for the prizes for the winners! Talking about that, here are the results of the challenges~ 1st DTIYS winner: djaxaran! 2nd DTIYS winner: @the-flame-blade! Raffle winners: EVERYONE! DTIYS: Unity

Greetings everyone!!

I'm here passing by at the speed of light to deliver my entry for saphiraholzken's DTIYS challenge on Instagram~ This is Unity, her main OC!

Even if the master class keeps me very busy, I'm *feeling the power of improvement* and I really wanted to apply some of the concepts about lights and shadows that we studied to an illustration of mine! I'm still not comfortable painting from grayscale to color, but hey, the result ain't bad at all, right? Next time I'll try to do it in my own way, and I hope that time will be very soon, because you can't understand my *excitement* for all of this!!

Congrats to you, Saphira, for the great milestone ♥ I've been here since you reached half of the followers you have now and it's a pleasure to participate to all these nice challenges of yours! Can't wait for the next!

Ruru, the Nightmare

"The wild resides even in silence." Helloooo people, it's been a while and I'll quickly tell you why! I've spent the whole past week on this drawing here, and I wanted this to be quite a special piece - enough to decide to scrap an old version of it, so that I could give to my Woad/Owl character the collected but fierce look she deserved. Why? Because this was the first illustration I made after starting to take a new art master class! The teacher wanted to see the best we could do first, and I gave my all for it, so that I can see through the months how far past this point I can get!! This is the reason why my activity here is going to be a little more unstable from now on, but boooi, I promise I'll make it worth it! In the meantime, enjoy my full rework of Ruru, first huntress and champion of her tribe! She was made for a short custom module of Shadows of the Demon Lord, where the worst already happened and the survivors are struggling to protect what they have left.
