What do you think Jack does after the strike?
(This is referring to the stage musical, not the movie.)
We know he decides to stay in New York, but we don't actually get to find out whether or not he accepts the job offer from Pulitzer to become a daily political cartoonist.
(I have a strong opinion on this, but I don't want to share it until the poll closes so I don't sway the vote.)
This is exactly how I expected the results to turn out!
I've noticed that a lot of post-canon fanfics that I've read tend to depict Jack working as an illustrator for Pulitzer while also continuing to sell papers.
Personally, I don't think Jack would take the offer from Pulitzer. I can't imagine him agreeing to draw political cartoons that would slander Teddy Roosevelt after everything Roosevelt did to help settle the strike + shut down the Refuge. I do think he'd continue to be a newsie though. The man has a union to run!
