In light of Crosshair refusing to stop being stubborn and come back home, I will upload on the Holonet every single blackmail worthy pictures we have (and there are a lot!) every day until he drags himself home. 

I hate to do this but sometimes you have to pull out the big guns. 

Anyway, enjoy Mr Tall, Dark and Handsome after one of his date nights with his gf... Don’t know what happened to his clothes but this isn’t standard uniform.

It takes a minutes or two for Echo to notice, engrossed as he is modding his DC-15. It's only when he tries to shift his legs from under the table to get up that he notices the extra weight. Peeking at his feet, he notices the chubby blue toddler chewing at his (thankfully metallic) ankles.

"May I help you?" He says very seriously, holding back a smile.

It took a few minutes for Tech to decypher the encrypted message, surprisingly sent on the private frequency he had set up when he arrived in the unit. Only 5 people had access to it, namely himself, Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and... Crosshair. He could feel a lump in his throat as he read the transmission, forcing it down to call his brothers to the cockpit. 

“You need you to take a look at this.” He said, as neutral as he could manage, handing the datapad to Hunter, who’s face promptly fell as he read. There was silence as the datapad was passed around, each taking a look for themselves at the words on the screen. 

“What are we going to do?” Echo’s voice cut through the quiet rumble of the engine, turning to Hunter, who had his arms crossed, face somber. He rose his head, looking lost. 

“I...” he trailed off, faltering under the expectant gazes of his brothers. “I don’t know.” 

For once, their leader had no solution for them.

79s Favorite “Canon Because We Said So” From This Year

 Not only is it May the 4th, its also 79s 1 year anniversary and we cannot get over some of the amazing people and friends we have had come and go as a result of our love for our troopers! We have so many favorites we just can’t seem to get enough of!

This year has had many ups and downs both emotionally and physically. We had to learn how to make it through a crazy time in our lives and even if things are hectic and changing now, you all will always hold a special place in the hearts of 79s staff as we continue to enjoy Star Wars and all of the other things the future brings. May the Force be with you always.

// I wasn’t planning to make a post or anything for May the 4th because I’m only slowly getting back into the fandom, but you’re once again out there making my heart full of love, and I think something needs to be said about 79s.

In the one year this account has been around, I’ve seen it grow and become a beautiful, shining beacon of love, fun, and happiness in the fandom. It brought people together through some tough time and has relentlessly made a point to bring joy and laughter to everyone, whether through RPs or wonderful other post like “The Clones As” that we cannot get enough of. 

Even more than that, the mun is one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest person I know, and I’m so grateful that you decided to create this blog one year ago, bringing to much good in my life and that of others!

Today we celebrate Star Wars, but also your wonderful presence in the fandom! May it inspire other to keep on spreading happiness and positivity around, and make people’s life brighter!

The Clones as Different Kinds of Art Students!

thanks to my residential art student @heaven-eather for helping me with this. As an engineering student my whole knowledge of art students is based on two semesters of design classes I took for engineering blueprints Rex- The genuine perfectionist. Like they be churning out masterpieces and still be like "nah I don't like it too much... The colours are off, the anatomy is wrong..". You can't identify a single of the things they see as bad.  Echo- The guy who stresses about his choices through each step of the project, stresses out.  Fives- that guy you never see working ever but who always churns out incredible pieces that surprise you every time. But not the teacher, so obviously they've been following what he does but when? A mystery for the ages... Jesse-The anxious kid who spent their school years trying to please their teachers and now that they're in art and have to express themselves they have no idea what to do because their whole existence revolves around trying to make their teachers satisfied with what they do. They consult the teacher with nearly every line they add on their drawing and follow their advice scrupulously but the end result is just... Bland. Believe in yourself and be proud of who you are. Your ideas are worth being put out there, you don't need validation to be worthy. Kix-the one who always complains about assignment guidelines being too restricting and that art is about expressing oneself. Tup- The divine sketcher. Their sketches are incredible. Lively, dynamic, expressive, and absolute delight. They ink them and now they're just... Flat and bland and terribly boring and static. You don't understand why. Neither do they. Dogma-The mystery artist. They're always drawing, whevener you see them, they're folded over their work. You've never seen a single of their piece tho. They get grades, and they've been passing their classes so far but you have no idea what their artstyle is like. Hardcase-Always anxious and jumpy due to the caffeine in his system and his art shows it Coric-The one that has to have music playing when they are arting or they can’t work Bly-the "deep" one. Always works on super deep psychological and philosophical subject, and it would be interesting but it's a real clutter of ideas and you struggle understanding most of it. You ask them about it, and they shrug like "I think it's pretty obvious." They need to work on their execution, but damn if they ain't got some swell ideas in there 99- Look. He is just Bob Ross.  Cody-The machine. Their productivity rate is off the charts. You don't understand how they manage to make so much art in so little time. You ask them, and they have no idea either. Waxer and Boil- Look I am just here to draw anime/fanart lets cut to the chase. Wolffe- The constant restarter. midway through he isn’t satisfied and starts all over again Sinker and Boost- The clueless guy. “Look I am just in this class because I need an easy credit.” vibes. probably drops out after two weeks. Hunter-The serial procrastinator who still manages to finish on time after like 4 sleepless nights in a row AND their project look good. They don't like it tho because it's not as good as it could be but maybe it would be if they bEGAN WORKING ON IT EARLIER Wrecker-The person who is objectively “Not that good at drawing” But they're so happy and confident doing it and it radiates through what they draw and their pieces always end up being a pleasure to view Tech-the guy that has TOO much technical knowledge and will ask what type  your background tree is, or what is the brand of the car you drew in that one piece then call out the little details that do not EXACTLY FIT reality Crosshair- The unwanted critic. ALL art is beautiful and no one needs your opinion unless its asked for so shove it
