Carlos Alcaraz
Carlos Alcaraz is a Spanish professional tennis player known for becoming one of the youngest men to reach world No. 1 in ATP rankings. Alcaraz was born in Murcia, Spain, where he began playing tennis at age 4. He trained under the guidance of his father, who worked at a local tennis academy and later began training under coach Juan Carlos Ferrero. He began his professional tennis career at age 15.
Alcaraz made his ATP debut in 2020 at the Rio Open. He won his first ATP title at the Croatia Open the following year and claimed his first Grand Slam at the 2022 US Open, becoming the youngest men’s world No. 1 in history. He went on to defeat Novak Djokovic to claim his second Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2023 and secured his third at the 2024 French Open.
Known for his aggressive style and speed on court, Alcaraz has been endorsed by Nike and Babolat, and he has represented brands such as Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Rolex. He has earned multiple ATP awards, including Newcomer of the Year in 2020 and Player of the Year in 2022.
