Christina Applegate
Christina Applegate made her television debut as a child alongside her mother, Nancy Priddy, on the soap opera Days of Our Lives in 1972 before nabbing her breakout role as Kelly Bundy on Married with Children. Applegate earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role on Jesse and won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her appearance on Friends. She’s also known for her work on Samantha Who? and Dead to Me.
On the big screen, Applegate has starred in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (1991), The Sweetest Thing (2002), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Hall Pass (2011), Bad Moms (2016) and Crash Pad (2017).
In 2008, Applegate was diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer. After having a double mastectomy, Applegate has been cancer free since. In August 2021, she announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). In May 2023, Applegate revealed that she would be open to voice acting, but would probably not work on-camera again due to her illness.
The actress was previously married to Johnathon Schaech from 2001 until their split in 2005. Their divorce was finalized two years later. Applegate started dating musician Martyn LeNoble in 2009. The couple tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed daughter Sadie Grace in 2011.
