About
Prince George is the eldest son of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, who wed in April 2011 at London’s Westminster Abbey.
George became second in line for the British throne upon the September 2022 death of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. George is the first grandchild of King Charles III, who was officially crowned in May 2023. (Charles was married to the late Princess Diana before tying the knot with Queen Camilla in 2005.)
George became an older sibling with the arrivals of his sister, Princess Charlotte, and brother Prince Louis in May 2015 and April 2018, respectively.
