uxcon vienna takes place at the historic University of Vienna – a place shaped by centuries of learning, research, and curiosity. Beyond that, our beautiful Vienna, voted the most livable city in the world, has so much to offer. Come explore!
Our content program blends different talk formats, workshops and more intimate sessions. Various stages and workshop rooms across the venue host all the excitement. Plus, we’ll also be heading outside for a few sessions.
Alongside the main program, we’ve got plenty of side events – sightseeing and walk & talks, networking opportunities and other chill activities to help you unwind after intense conference days.
Our events are crafted with lots of love and respect for people and we're committed to planning in a sustainable way. We care that you feel at home and enjoy the experience.
Pair uxcon with Future Builders, our new event for senior practitioners in design, engineering and product - taking place the day after uxcon.
Got questions? Swing by our information hub and let us help you find what you need.
We warmly welcome anyone interested in UX design and UX research. Our program is tailored for UX professionals from various backgrounds and expertise levels, including UX researchers, designers, product owners, and CX professionals.
For details on smaller events like workshops and community meetups, check out the event page for more info on who they’re for.
uxcon ’26 is happening in the historic halls of the University of Vienna.
The main building on Ringstraße sets the stage with its grand entrance hall and the stunning Arkadenhof – a courtyard that feels more like a quiet architectural statement than just a passageway between sessions.
At the heart of it all: the Audimax, the university’s largest lecture hall. A modern space built for big lectures and major events – and, every now and then, for student protests.
Alongside that, you’ll find additional lecture halls and smaller retreat spaces throughout the building – perfect for focused sessions, side conversations, and the kind of spontaneous exchanges that usually turn out to be the most memorable part of a conference.
uxcon vienna is all about being respectful and appreciating each other.
