About VABVI

The Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (VABVI) is Vermont’s leading nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with vision loss statewide. Since 1926, VABVI has empowered individuals of all ages—from infants and school-aged children to working adults and seniors—to gain independence, build adaptive skills, and live full, self-directed lives.

VABVI provides a wide range of personalized services including in-home support, assistive technology training, mobility instruction, and family education. Whether someone was born with a visual impairment or experienced vision loss later in life, VABVI works to ensure that every Vermonter receives the tools, resources, and guidance they need to thrive.

Your Support Makes a Lasting Impact

VABVI relies on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community advocates to continue offering essential services to Vermonters living with vision loss.
