Fast bike , Is definitely my favourite 86-88 125 Yz. I really wanted to build one again but I couldn’t find* the parts in the 90’s let alone 30+ years later . Looks awesome , Good luck

So far it's been great, power is similar to a 350 out of corners and a 250 up top. It's interesting to ride back to back with my Varg because although it's down on power compared to the Stark, it's 20 lbs lighter and corners incredibly well, so I feel like the overall fun factor may actually tip the scales towards the conversion bike. We're planning to do a shootout video soon between the EMX, Varg, Atla, and Arctic Leopard which should be really interesting.

Yamaha had a bunch of goofy ads. Remember all of Team Yamaha bald? Mid 90's. Funny stuff though. Had McGrath switched to the 4 stroke pig, maybe he would have retired sooner..... Back then even at the factory level those bikes were heavy. Jeremy was fairly set in his ways about bike setup as were others at the time. Making the switch back then would be like asking Dungey to race a 2 stroke for the second half of the outdoors today. Lots of guys put it off as long as they could.

If only MC raced the 4strk, may have earned him another 1 or 2 titles.

I have a new billet front caliper that will greatly improve stopping (and it's not grabby, very progressive). If interested, email me at: VitalMx123@outlook.com Sweet project there!

Awesome! I remember going to a 500GP in Mantova in 1999, when big bore 4 strokes were just starting to mingle with the 2 strokes. I vividly remember my excitement as these big machines were making the ground shake every time they landed jumps. Bartolini finished up there, either first or second if I recall correctly.
