Update: Several bugs were reported, textures have been adjusted which should resolve the issue. The zip file contains the fixes.
This diffuse edit brings glorious prismatic color to your character's eyes. The mod itself is a png which you apply with correct steps. Examples files included are a few of my favorites from other contributors listed above. Your mileage may vary. This should work with many existing eye mods.
The full example I've included is a redux of my own Ancient Eyes with the addition of Illy's New Shine, so the "glow" has been added to the normals in the zip. As provided these eyes will glow at night and have a brilliant colorful shine during the day.
Step 1 - Export all of your existing textures for your eyes.
Step 2 - For Each of your Iris Textures, click More Options -> Edit Material -> Use Unique Texture
Step 3 - Change the preset to "Diffuse Specular" and hit Save.
These steps are important as not doing them will apply the diffuse to all eyes
Step 4 - Import your exported textures in to the correct location for each iris, and the prismatic diffuse.
You may only have one depending on your eye mod(s). Alternately, the files I used for the screenshot are included.
Step 5 - Go to models, click export for your face.
Step 6 - Click import, select the 3D file you just exported and check the "Clear Vertex Color" box.
Step 7 - Click Import.
An example is in the zip for Female Middies, Face 5 so you can see how it all fits together. If you use the provided colorset and either of the normals, the glow is edited by changing the emissive in row 15 of the colorset(s) to your desired color.
It's important to note you will be unable to color your eyes in game.
