XPILOT ASSIST is XPENG's production-ready driving assistance system. It uses quadruple perception fusion with 3D detection and LiDAR. XPILOT ASSIST is built for urban driving, combining rule-based and data-driven approaches with 100,000 km of daily simulation. It covers three scenarios: City NGP for urban roads, Highway NGP for motorways, and Valet Parking Assist (VPA) for last-kilometre automated parking. More than 10 safety functions such as AEB and BSD provide all-round protection.

Xmart OS is XPENG's intelligent cabin system. It features a voice assistant with continuous dialogue, wake-word-free interaction, dual-zone recognition and a customisable personality. It offers four cabin modes. X-Sleep creates a sleep space with a single command. X-Play streams movies and sports, and runs apps for in-car entertainment. X-Go powers accessories and appliances from the battery pack via V2L. X-DIY controls external devices like drones from the centre display.

XPENG delivers frequent OTA updates, continuously bringing new capabilities to vehicles on the road. Development is driven by user feedback, ensuring each update addresses driver needs and preferences. Every release enhances both intelligent driving and smart cabin features — from ADAS functions to voice assistant upgrades — so the vehicle improves across the board with every over-the-air update.

XPENG's safety system is built on four pillars. Active safety brings more than 10 functions — including AEB, BSD, DOW, LKA and ELK — that alert drivers to blind spots and hazards. Passive safety is built around a body with up to 70% high-strength steel. Secondary collision mitigation automatically brakes after an impact to prevent secondary collisions. Battery safety meets the IP68 waterproof and dustproof standard, with a reinforced protection case and real-time temperature monitoring.
