Snowflake Ornament Photo from Candace

Candace is one of those "overtime" stitchers I mentioned! Not only did she complete the entire Cheetah Needlework Set in record time, she has already completed another project and again has done a magnificent job! This time she beautifully stitched and finished the Octagon Snowflake Fob embellished with lots of sparkly beads (oh, how I love sparkly things!) I just love getting to show off her finishes (she doesn't have a blog of her own.....yet!) Thank you, again, Candace!

Photos from Wilma

Wilma has shared photos of her recent finish and I'm happy to post them today! She stitched the Octagon Snowflake Fob with DMC Variations on 14ct light blue aida and finished it as a bourse. Didn't she do a lovely job on it?! I so appreciate seeing the variety of finishes for the simple charts I share - it makes each project seem so fresh and new! Thanks so much for sharing the photos, Wilma - I'm looking forward to your next finish!

Octagon Snowflake Finish

Wait until you see this! Faby has sent a picture of the Octagon Snowflake Fob (the first, larger version) stitched up, not as a fob, but as a little bag. Isn't it gorgeous!?! She does such beautiful work and I love the special touches she has added with the ribbons, beads and sequins. Please visit her blog for more pictures and some cute free charts she has designed and is sharing with her visitors. I've already printed out the Snowflake Biscornu to stitch. I hope I can do half the job on her chart that she has done on mine!!

Smaller Octagon Snowflake Fob Finish

Fabienne has kindly sent me a picture of the small snowflake fob she stitched and finished! She has more pictures on her blog - please check them out and take a look around her blog while you are there. It can be found here or http://faby.over-blog.fr/. I think it turned out wonderfully - I love her thread choices, the sparkle really brings it to life! Thanks so much, Fabienne, for sharing your finish!

Smaller Octagon Snowflake Fob

Here is the smaller version of the Snowflake Fob - it should work better for 14ct to 16ct or 28ct to 32ct over 2 threads.

Snowman Mug Insert

Another of the "lost" charts. This was designed as an insert for the plastic mugs you can find in the hobbies and crafts stores. He would make a great scissors fob also by using part of the design - I'll try to rechart him that way also.

Octagon Snowflake Fob

After a really warm fall we finally got a cold snap to remind us it really is late November after all. So time to move on to winter themes for awhile. First up is a snowflake fob. I would suggest using 18ct or 36ct over 2 threads for this or it will be a little big for a scissors fob. I plan to make a smaller version of it in the next day or two.
