I still can't stop talking 'bout all the fun I had with my mom at the Cher concert! Cher may not have been during my generation, but I remember growing up and hearing her music on the stations my parents listened to. With that said, her songs were very familiar to me and helllllllloooooooo, it's CHER, the legend- everyone knows who Cher is!
The concert was help at the "new" Park Theater, located at Park MGM. Getting into the theater was super easy, where we entered through on of the entrances from the side and bam, we went up some escalators and found our seats. Throughout the walk ways they were selling t-shirts and such, but boy were they pricey...
Once at our seats, we were able to check out her staging area. FYI, this theater is huge; probably triple or quadruple the size of the planet Hollywood theater- it's big! We sat comfortably in the 305 section and these were great seats.
The show was supposed to start at 8pm, but this diva didn't start until 8:30 or so...
The fun lasted until 10:45pm and again although our tickets were comp'd the show is so worth it to see!
She performed through backs from ABBA, "I got you babe," "Do you believe," "Fernando".. and more! Can we please talk about how awesome her body looks at 7-2 years old! I couldn't stop saying "oh my god," every time she came out with a new costume change because her body was bangin'!
Let's just say, if you get the chance to see this show- which returns in March 2019, try to come it, it's totally worth it.Helpful 26Thanks 0Love this 24Oh no 0 - Sep 18, 2018
It's really hard to knock a legend off of their throne, especially when that person only needs to go by one name and that name is Cher.
I was fortunate enough to see the show on my last trip to Vegas and it was really worth the $150 ticket. The Park theater, from my understanding, was built for Cher's show. The sound quality is amazing and truly, no matter where you're sitting, you're going to have a great seat and enjoy the music flashing back to four decades of hits.
The show started pretty promptly which I was surprised by, but really, I've never been to a Vegas concert that started late or ran beyond that 90 minute mark.
It kicks of with a monologue from the Queen of costumes and ends with the line, "Ask yourself one question. What's your grandmother doing tonight?" And then kicks off with her 2013 hit, "Woman's World".
While you're there. You're going to hear Sonny & Cher tunes like, "I Got You Babe" which she sings with a image of Sonny Bono. You're going to hear hits like, "Half-Breed", "If I Could Turn Back Time", and, "The Shoop, Shoop Song".
Costume changes galore. Probably a change after every second song. She danced. I mean, she's 71 (at the time) like I've got to give her a break. Did she sing live? I dunno? Did it really matter? Probably not because I'm giving respect to someone who's been giving it to us for so long. I guess it would have been nice to confirm that though. Definitely times where I was like, "woah, that's the audio playback" and there were times where I wasn't so sure. Either way, the energy was high enough and the show was so fun; with so much going on it shouldn't something you're worried about, truly.
I had a blast. I plan on seeing her again the next time I'm there for sure. Hit after hit. Literally the beat goes on. Worth both the time and money.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - May 16, 2018
"Classic Cher" at the Park Theater was a great show. Even high up in the upper balcony she was quite visible and looked less than half her age. Just as sassy and personable as ever, she shared some interesting information in a couple of monologues, but mostly sang, strutted about the stage, and occasionally danced. Her eight dancers were great, especially the four men donning Spartan helmets in an early scene.
Besides the iconic black negligee-style dress with black knee-high boots and 11 different sparkling costumes for Cher, there were vibrant and colorful sets, laser beams, a faux trunk-forward pachyderm on which Cher sat for one entrance, large background photos, and some of Cher's most memorable songs backed by a live five-piece rocking band. There was even a duet between Cher and Sonny appearing in photographic mode. An hour and a half of nonstop, highly enjoyable entertainment!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Jason G.Seattle, WA468335808545Sep 28, 2022
This was an old review for a Cher show but so worth going anytime that you see Cher. The performance and singing is so impressive.

There wasn't much Cher... ugh maybe it was my expectations. It was a lot of videos and talking and she started really late. None of the songs I love were played. It def was NOT worth the money.

My friend heard that it's a great show, but I was skeptical. The songs I know are great but she isn't someone that my generation flocks to so her show wasn't on my radar. Her voice is amazing, and the show itself is well put together. We had great seats mid theater and slightly off to the side. Such an amazing performance from Cher at Park Theater.

Before I decided to see Cher I read many reviews to determine if I wanted to go/no go see her. There were enough positive reviews so I decided it'll be a go.
Purchased two tickets in section 305, row M seats 1&2. I figured I could see Cher on the big monitor if nothing else.
Doors opened at 7pm for an 8 pm show at the Park Theater which will soon be the Park MGM instead of the Monte Carlo hotel & casino. Enter from the casino floor into the theater. Currently there's much construction so it's a little tricky finding your way into the Park.
Shows never start on time. However it started at 8:20'ish which was tolerable.
Cher comes down in a cage onto the stage. I got a good view of her from the big screen monitor. She sings a couple of songs; then goes into a rather long monologue.
Pros:
* professionally done show.
* many costume changes
* many Cher fans on the main floor. If you don't want to stand every time Cher sings a retro song, don't buy tickets on the main floor.
* for a 71 year old; Cher is an inspiration to many. If only we all had $$$$ for high maintenance efforts.
Cons:
* 1/2 the time when Cher performs, she's not shown on the big monitor. What's up with that?
Overall a nice performance as one would expect in Vegas.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Allie S.Las Vegas, NV136104212Jan 26, 2018
We had great seats. Section 200 - front and center. The venue is smaller, which means that every seat is probably pretty good. We went on a Wednesday night, and the balcony never had anyone seated. Doors opened at 7pm, scheduled to start at 8pm and actually started about 8:45pm (true diva legend I guess you can do that).
First number it seemed pretty obvious Cher was lip syncing. In the songs she was actually singing the audio was pretty bad. Suddenly her mic was up at times and you could hear her and other times the music drowned her out. When her vocals were consistently loud and clear I'm pretty sure was all of the recorded music/vocals.
She puts on a good show and her dancers are decent. The outfits are awesome and outrageous like you'd expect. Cher is 71 years old and her body is in great shape still. Her energy seemed low at times, and her "dancing" was minimal. Although she bragged she can hold a 5 minute plank still! Better than me, so big props for that.
She did a very long monologue at the beginning that was funny and entertaining, though a bit confusing at times. I was thankful that was the only one. She changed outfits about every two songs and the dancers would come out and do a lengthy dance performance to entertain.
Also, per usual, she was very respectful of Sonny and his memory. She spoke about their success, history of getting started, and did a couple of songs with his vocals.
Would not have paid to see the show, especially if I'd known that is was average. I do like Cher but wouldn't say I'm a huge fan. The tickets were a comp but valued at $200 a piece. I would NOT have paid that. I think if you are a huge Cher fan then definitely go. You probably will think it's amazing. All of that said it didn't stop me from buying a Cher shirt with her ass proudly displayed on the front.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Bill D.Ridgecrest, CA31205806Nov 17, 2018
My wife and mother-in-law wanted to see Cher in concert so they dragged me along. Overall the concert wasn't bad.
I was impressed with her hologram she looks so real. The first 10 songs were pretty slow but 11 through 16 picked up and it wasn't a bad concert at that point.
I did like Cher in that movie with Rocky.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 25, 2017
This show is now at Park Theater at Monte Carlo. I thought it was amazing! I was sitting pretty far back in the balcony "cheap seats", but in my opinion, it was a small enough theater that I could still see well. Great songs and costumes. Cher looks so incredible! The show started at least 20 minutes late, but they may have been waiting for everyone to enter. High energy throughout. I the parts remembering Sonny were very touching. At the end, she high fived just about everyone right below the stage.
