Environmental management system according to ISO 14001 

For a long time our thinking and action has been focused on 

saving resources for a better environment. In 1997, as one of 

the first companies, we introduced the environmental 

management system according to the international standard 

DIN EN ISO 14001. Together with the quality management 

system according to DIN EN ISO 9001, which was first 

certified in April 1993, it forms an important part of the futureoriented 

and international business policy of our company. 

Our environment report informs customers, neighbours and 

interested circles of our current environmental data.

RUDOLF‘s ecological aim when developing, producing and applying chemical products 

includes the economical use of resources, such as energy, water, raw materials and the 

lowest possible environmental pollution due to effluent, air emissions and waste. For 

implementing these aims, we advise our customers in detail how to use our products in an 

environmentally friendly way. 

The ISO-certified quality management system is the basis of our environmental 

management system. It shows our employees‘ standards to provide high-quality 

performance and to thus fully satisfy customers.

RUDOLF was awarded a special award for renewable raw materials 2007 by the Bayerische Staatsministerium für 

Landwirtschaft und Forsten (Bavarian state ministry for agriculture and forestry) as well as C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. 

(Centrales Agrar-Rohstoff-Marketing- und Entwicklungs-Netzwerk e. V. = Central Agrarian Raw Material Marketing 

and Development Network, registered organisation). This honours the many years of our exemplary commitment to 

the environment.

1.) Natural based softeners 



A non-suitable „solution“ 

Aloe Vera softeners on 

textiles 

� Aloe is water-soluble, 

it is not wash-fast 

� Heat in the drying process 

destroys the aloe 

� Aloe evaporates in the dryer 

Result: 

After drying Aloe could not 

be detected on the textile. If it 

is dried under moderate 

temperatures, it is not wash-fast.
