Flight cancelled by Seuss air and all onward flights missed
This is a quick flight from JoBerg to Livingstone. The small meal was very good, surprisingly, not a sandwich but a nice little chicken salad. Easy breezy flight if you travel long distance a lot. There is no entertainment and none needed for this short flight
Loved the in flight meal! Surprisingly good.! Staff on board were all friendly and professional! Book as far ahead as possible! Get your seat selection locked in ASAP
Far better than last return flight we had when the flight was delayed due to technical error and we missed our connection flight with no initial support from Airlink. This time thankfully all went well and will use again.
This was an excellent flight with great crew and a full complement service including a sandwich, a drink from the bar, tea, coffee or water with the meal and then a further bar service.
I can't understand how the priority boarding queue has so many people standing in it. I was travelling business class and arrived 40 minutes before boarding time and there we about 25 people in the queue ahead of me?
Delayed boarding... we were kept standing in the bus for too long... the bus was packed and smelling people!!! As if it's not enough,when we finally came off the bus, we had to wait again standing in the sun waiting to board..
+ There was a great small meal even on the short flight + They gave our kids a magazine that kept them busy because there were no screens - We didn't get a boarding pass for our infant in arms for the connecting flight

Easy short flight from Johannesburg to Harare. Boarding was slow, flight attendants were friendly. They did a meal service on this short flight, including wine, which was pretty cool.
Seat reclining, foot space; entertainment non-existent, but OK for sort flight! Staff super.
You get what you pay for. Uncomfortable seats, pay sky high prices for snacks, a passenger along side me was distressed and crying through most of the flight. I went to the tail of the plane to give to the distraught passenger. A stewardess approached me and I explained the situation. I was then charged R19 for a small bottle of water.!!!
A snack was advertised on my booking but when they came around I was told that is wrong. I wanted juice so I had to pay for it. I flew business class and was unable to book a business class seat on the website. Lucky there was still one available when I checked in at the airport.
I love FlySafair! PUNCTUALITY is what they do best, and thier schedule is so flexible, how they've structured Departure slots, one can decide to leave any time of the day. I am a coffee lover, I was astonished with their partnership with Boottleggers to allow us have specialty coffee on board, so wonderful.
Seats are very narrow. Boarding was delayed. The R85 voucher is insufficient for a wine and mixed nuts. Needs to be increased for "business class".
Our flight was canceled. The airline was apparently on strike.
Don’t waist money on priority. Changed the gates. Then let everyone through while priority row was twice as long. Got sooner to my seat jumping to the end of the line

Make some provisions for non-disabled elderly people who don't require assistance necessarily but would appreciate not having to walks long distances or stand for prolonged periods of time. For example: Seats close to boarding gates. Not being required to climb down and up stairs to board and deplane if in rows 17 upwards. Not being required to stand in long queues in boarding tunnels waiting to board. Priority fast track through security points to avoid long queues in departure halls.
This airline has now finally turned the corner and reminiscent of the old day service. Would definitely recommend flying with SAA.
Great experience all-round. From re-checking baggage directly before leaving the arrivals hall (coming from international), to fast and friendly boarding, to complimentary drinks and snacks on board. This was a very pleasant experience - even my luggage was delivered on the belt very quickly and it was a wonderful end to a 28 hour transit.

Boarded almost 48 hrs later after a scheduling change on my initial flight that was not communicated either by kayak of SAA.
I had booked a ticket for a 6:40 am departure in July 2025, but it appears there was a change to 8;00 am, which meant I missed my connecting flight which departed 10 m minutes before I landed. I had seen this problem only the previous day and try to resolve it with South African air, but they are very uncooperative on the phone. All they could say was all flights were fully booked and I ended up buying paying $2,000+ to secure a ticket for my family to ensure we got out of South Africa by Monday, which am currently pursuing with the airline.

The food options were beef or veg, No alternatives for Hindus, that don't eat beef...
Flight was on time Seats ( business class) are terrible- you keep on slipping down as it doesn’t lie flat Food service is like economy class. Meals ( still wrapped in plastic) are just dropped in front of you
On time flight; otherwise not impressed by the check- in- purchased business class and the aircraft was downgraded; no refund given for the difference. Told I could access the lounge due to the above and was questioned by the lounge check- in person who was not friendly

very much disapointed they said the gate opens at 1930 and will be oped for 15 minutes.. we reached there at 1940 and they had already closed the gates and we missed the flight, they dont update on their app and we had to spend a lot of time asking where our boarding gates where ileven check in they dont have online, we slept at the airport only for them to tell us that they will not rebook us and the money wont be refunded because they said we booked through the agent, i will never recommend fast jet to anyone beside im a content creator with more than a million followers across facebook and tiktok so im gona do a public name and shame for these cowards.. right nw im going to Harare by bus🙌
The flight was delayed by 4 hours no one apologized. When we were then taken into the bus to go board we were made to wait in the bus for more than an hour. The trip was just terrible
The times on the app and the actual boarding and take off time did not coincide. They were off by 30 min or more. Other than that, lovely experience. The flight attendants were pleasant and accommodating. Also, very pretty, not that that matters at all. The little snack sandwiches and snack boxes provided were very tasty. I would happily fly fastjet again!
Left early, arrived early, great crew, even had all our luggage which is always a bonus when Johannesburg is involved.
I lost my checkin baggage from Harare to Johannesburg. I nearly missed my connection flight. The plane was delayed for more than 2 hours without any communication from the team on the ground.
My wife’s checked luggage was missing her glasses,and some jewelry. The suitcase was inspected before boarding by your staff of thieves. So sad that your country suffers from so much domestic thievery. My wife is South African.
Your flight from CPT to JNB was delayed 3 times !!! Operational issues tells the customer, me , nothing!!! Issues really were bad weather; and mechanical failures due to poor sub- standard preventive maintenance. Blame the weather all you want, but a delay of 5 hours should be unacceptable to your management. The Cemair staff in JNB dropped the ball !!!!!! And the answer here in South Africa is a lack of CARING . Understand????
My original flight was cancelled and I was rebooked on a flight that departed 7 hours later. I was advised by Emirates (with whom my full itinerary was booked) that I was not able to cancel and change airlines. Needless to say, not happy.
Female pilot and co-pilot handle themselves very well. Professional.

Plettenberg Bay is a unique airport, so boarding with always have certain quirks. Cemair has zero regard for passengers, and their commitment to adhering to departure times. In two flights we had 3 flight changes, and a 1.5h delay. If you have any kind preceding or follow on plans, do not fly Cemair.

No A/C on the plane - and it was hot. Unmarked aircraft - looked sketchy.
