The SR Portamento offers a Bound Panga Panga fingerboard that extends the length of the standard SR neck to a hefty 30-fret length. Several years in the making, the SR Portamento's new AeroSilk piezo system delivers an uncanny touch of hollow-bodied openness, and realizes the innovative Upright Double Bass sound to blend into the mix that both inspires and redefines the role of the solid body bass.

This Bass is amazing I love it. Its very light for a 6 string and it sounds amazing. Its comfortable to play and feels great. zZounds is a great company to deal with. I ordered a blemished SRF706 first and when it arrived it was cracked in two places so I called and they sent me a brand new factory sealed replacement for the same price and payment plan the same day I sent the bass back the new one shipped. Every person I spoke with was really nice and I had no issues with the whole thing .Thats pretty amazing in my opinion. I will be buying all my equipment from zZounds from now on.
