아오포는 사모아의 사바이섬 가가이포마우가 지구의 마을이다.가가시포마우가 구와 가가시포마우가 3 선거구의 섬 북쪽 중앙에 내륙에 위치한다.[1]인구는 383명이다.[2]마을의 이름은 ao(낮)와 po(밤)라는 두 단어에서 따온 것이며 화산 폭발에서 유래된 것일 수도 있다.[3]

이 마을은 사바이이 북쪽 해안에서 내륙에 위치하며, 섬의 화산 원뿔에서 나온 주요 용암밭에 가깝다.방문객들에게 아오포 보존 구역이 있고 탐방로는 마을 동쪽 끝에서 시작된다.

등산객들은 아오포에서 사모아의 가장 높은 봉우리인 실리실리산을 오를 수 있다.[4]

2007년, 아오포 마을은 청새목재에 티크 농장을 팔았다.[5]
