Angus MacColl은 스코틀랜드의 백파이프 선수다.

인생

그는 오반 근처의 벤델로크에서 태어났고, 처음에는 그의 아버지로부터 파이프를 배웠다.[1] 맥콜은 존 맥콜을 포함한 많은 유명한 피퍼들의 후손이다.[1] 그의 아들 Angus J. MacColl도 경쟁력 있는 파이퍼다.[2][3]

경력

맥콜은 노던미팅과 아질셔모임에서 모두 금메달을 땄다.[1] 그는 또한 2012년 북부 회의에서 전 수상자 클라스, 몇 개의 셀 비그 상,[5][6] 메트로 컵을 수상하였다.[7] 또한 1995년, 2006년, 2010년, 2015년 네 차례 글렌피디치 챔피언십에서 우승했다.[8][9]

2008년과 2016년 스코틀랜드 파이프밴드가 결성될 때 스피릿 오브 파이프 밴드와 함께 활동했다.[10]
