초이트로의 달은 방글라데시의 꽃으로 알려져 있다.

초이트로(Bengali: চৈত্র)는 벵골 달력의 마지막 달이다.[1] 3월 중순부터 4월 중순까지이며 봄의 마지막 달(벵갈리: :স্তত Bôsôntô)이다. The name of the month is derived from the star Chitra (চিত্রা Chitra).[1]

문화

Traditionally this month is famous for what is called the "Choitro Sale" (চৈত্র সেল) when all shopping prices fall discounted (sale) all throughout the month. 전통적으로 연말까지 남아 있는 모든 상품을 팔기 위해 행해져, 새 회계장부인 할카타(河alkata)가 설날에 개설될 수 있도록 되어 있다.[2][3]

차이트라 산크란티(Chaitra Sankranti)는 이 달의 마지막 날과 벵골 달력의 마지막 날에 관측된다.[4][5] 그것은 수백 년 동안 기념해 온 도시 지역보다 시골 지역에서 더 많이 기념된다. 이 날은 포헬라 보이샤흐 전날로 시골 지역에서는 포헬라 보이샤흐보다 더 인기가 있다.[6]
