야자나무속(아레카과)은 야자나무아과에 속하는 속이다.그것은 현재 받아들여지고 있는 유일한 종인 몰루카족이 [3]원산지인 Jailoloa halmaherensis만을 가지고 있다.초저온 토양에서만 자란다.현재는 동할마헤라에서만 [4]서식하고 있다.
